I bought it because my ears are very sensitive to cold wind. I have other headbands made from the same type fabric that are great, because they are a double layer. Sadly, this one is not good. The single layer of polar fleece is simply too thin to block the wind.

Folds up small to stay in my jacket pocket, but keeps my ears warm. Love it!

Better than the originals — softer and better fitting.

I purchased two of the Polar Feet Fleece Headbands for presents - one for myself. It fits well. I like the coverage over the ears and the way my glasses fit under the headband. The headband fits snugly on my head - not too tight - and I can get a baseball type hat or a wide brimmed hiking hat over it. I love that aspect. I would purchase these headbands again.
